What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Staff position at A & S Party Rental?
At A&S Party Rental we create extraordinary events to celebrate successes and milestones with a team that is like family, and customers that we consider friends. A&S began as a small family business, that has been growing for the past 25 years. Our home-base is located in Franklin Ohio, just off I-75, having recently expanded with a location in Cincinnati as well; servicing clientele across not only the state of Ohio but the tri-state area and beyond!
Job Summary: A&S Party Rental is looking for outgoing individuals to provide great customer service, who can bring positive energy and fun to all of the different kinds of events. Event staffing positions may include:
- Supervision of inflatable bounce houses/ slides or interactive inflatables (i.e. laser tag arena)
- Operation of inflatable attractions (i.e. mechanical bull)
- Artistic talents, including: face-painting, air-brush tattooing, glitter tattooing, wax hand crafting, costume character impersonation
- Casino dealing, including: blackjack, craps, roulette, Texas hold'em, casino wheels
- Operation of various consumable based machines, including: cotton candy, popcorn, snow cone, funnel cake
- Help with operation of rides, such as: zip-line, bungee trampoline, carousel, fun slide, and more!
***Event Staff are not expected to fulfill all categories of event positions***
Responsibilities of Event Staff:
- Prioritizing safe operation/ handling of any equipment, with specific regard to ensuring the safety of all event participants.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and composure at all events; representing the A&S brand very well.
- Reporting to and following delegated instruction from Event Supervisors when at events.
- Having fun! The goal of our events is ensuring our customers have a great time; we bring out the fun in everyone!
About this Role: This position is part-time, with opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge into a full-time vocation. Event staff who seek to obtain additional training, once qualified, can receive additional hours and pay. This training is specifically referring to assisting in the event setup/ teardown. Event staff are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from event locations. Work hours can vary depending on the availability of the associate and needs of the business, typical event/ shift hours range between 3 to 5 hours but can be longer or shorter, on any given weekday or weekend.
