A & S Fabricating Co. a family-owned business with over 57 years in business located at 265 US Hwy. 431 N. in Livermore, KY is a “Complete Job Shop” specializing in Large Heavy Custom Metal Fabrications, Complete Machine Shop Service, Assembly & Equipment Building, Repairs, Sandblasting & Painting.
A & S Fabricating Co. is currently seeking to hire a Full-Time experienced Machine Shop Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Must Have a Minimum of 10 yrs. Prior Experience in all facets of Machine Shop Operations, especially with Manual Machines.
- Knowledge of Custom Fabrication Shop Procedures Preferred.
- Must Be a Proven Leader, with Excellent Communication Skills, & Be Detail Oriented.
- Must Have Solid Computer Skills & Working Knowledge of AutoCad.
- Must Have Experience Reading & Interpreting Detailed Blueprints.
- Must Be a Team Player & Self Motivated.
- Must Be Able to Work with Other Departments to Coordinate Work Schedule to Get Jobs Out on Time.
- Must Be Able to Inspect Parts Before & After Machining Process.
- Must Be Willing to Work a Minimum of 40 hrs. a Week.
- Must Pass Pre-Employment Drug/Alcohol Screen & Physical.
Work Hours
- Typical Workdays are Monday - Friday
- Typical Work Hours are 6:30 am - 3:00 pm CST (30 min. lunch break)
- Overtime and Weekend Work is Determined by Production Demands
