At A Rosie Place for Children, we are seeking a passionate, relationship-driven, and highly organized Events & Community Engagement Coordinator to help advance our mission of serving medically fragile children and the families who love them.
Fundraising Events Coordinator
- Collaborate with Director of Advancement with strategic planning of short- and long-term goals of events to meet funding requirements of A Rosie Place for Children to carry out its mission
- Lead the planning, execution & management of all fundraising event logistics including venues, sponsorships, décor, auctions, registration, guest experience, timelines, and follow-up
- Collaborate with committees, volunteers, vendors, and staff to ensure seamless execution of events
- Create strategies to increase & secure sponsorships, live & silent auction items, attendance, and donor engagement
- Ensure online giving and auction platforms are operational and user-friendly
Planning of H.A.V.E.N. Family Events
- In conjunction with the Program Coordinator, plan & host H.A.V.E.N. (Here and Visible Educational Networking) events which are held 4-6 times per year & designed exclusively for families caring for a medically fragile child
- Work with appropriate staff and volunteers to accomplish goal of creating unique opportunities for medically fragile children & siblings to have a fun experience while also empowering families to connect with each other, share resources & foster relationships
Community Engagement & Outreach
- Nurture relationships with community members, both individual and corporate, that support 3rd party events
- Serve as the lead on third-party fundraising initiatives
- Collaborate with team to represent A Rosie Place for Children at designated community events and engagement opportunities
- Help expand awareness of our mission throughout our service areas
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Development, Marketing, and Clinical teams to connect storytelling with event impact

Ideal Candidate
- 2-3 years of experience in event management & planning, sales, public relations or experience in related field; entry level role for recent college graduate will be considered.
- Excellent organization, problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills are essential; Strong written and verbal communicator, excellent accounting skills, and a collaborator with whom people want to approach.
