Pastry Chef Assistant

Shindig Park, Liberty Center’s premiere event space from the founders of Agave & Rye, is looking for a talented Pastry Chef Assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. You’ll work alongside our Executive Pastry Chef to craft high-quality desserts, pastries, and specialty baked goods that elevate our guests’ experience.

We’re seeking someone with a passion for baking, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a creative, high-volume kitchen setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Pastry Chef with daily preparation of desserts, pastries, and baked goods
• Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes
• Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently
• Decorate and finish desserts with creativity and precision
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pastry kitchen
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Qualifications:

• Previous kitchen or baking experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• Passion for pastry arts and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow recipes and directions accurately
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Must be reliable, team-oriented, and able to work flexible hours
