Role Overview
A&R Contractors and Builders is seeking an experienced and reliable Independent Project Manager / Subcontractor to take full ownership of construction projects—ranging from small renovations to large-scale builds. This individual will operate as a trusted partner, responsible for end-to-end project execution, representing the company with professionalism while ensuring timely delivery, high-quality workmanship, budget control, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Project Ownership
- Manage assigned projects from initiation through completion
- Oversee all phases including planning, coordination, execution, and final delivery
- Company Representation
- Act as a direct representative of A&R Contractors and Builders on-site and with clients
- Maintain professional communication and uphold company standards
- Scheduling & Timelines
- Develop and manage project timelines
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule
- Budget Management
- Execute projects within agreed budgets
- Manage labor, materials, and subcontractor costs efficiently
- Quality Control
- Ensure all work meets company expectations and industry standards
- Perform regular site inspections and address deficiencies promptly
- Team & Trade Coordination
- Hire, manage, and supervise subcontractors and trades as needed
- Coordinate workflow across all aspects of the project
- Compliance & Permits
- Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal building codes and regulations
- Coordinate inspections and permits as required
- Client Satisfaction
- Maintain strong client relationships
- Address concerns promptly and ensure a positive customer experience
