Zing Recruiting is seeking a Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to candidates and clients, helping organizations solve hiring challenges while guiding candidates through important career decisions. You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job intake and sourcing through placement, onboarding, and retention.
Whether working remotely, in a hybrid environment, or from one of our offices, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and creating long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
$55,000 Base Salary Uncapped Commission

What You'll Do
As a Recruiter, your primary focus will be building relationships, delivering exceptional communication, and creating successful hiring outcomes for candidates and clients.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from job order intake through placement and retention
- Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand business objectives, hiring needs, and position requirements
- Develop sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent
- Recruit candidates using Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, job boards, and social media
- Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to evaluate experience, skills, career goals, and cultural fit
- Present qualified candidates to clients with thorough and professional candidate summaries
- Coordinate interview scheduling, preparation, feedback collection, offer management, and onboarding activities
- Maintain active candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Candidate Experience & Relationship Management
- Serve as a career advisor and advocate throughout the hiring process
- Set clear communication expectations and provide consistent updates throughout the recruitment cycle
- Build meaningful relationships with candidates by understanding their career goals, motivations, and long-term aspirations
- Prepare candidates for interviews and assist with offer negotiations
- Conduct regular follow-up conversations during onboarding and after placement to support retention and long-term success
- Ensure no active candidate goes more than five business days without communication
Client Partnership & Account Management
- Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to client organizations
- Maintain ongoing communication regarding recruiting activity, market conditions, candidate pipelines, and hiring progress
- Conduct job intake meetings and gather detailed hiring requirements
- Provide consultative recommendations regarding compensation, market trends, talent availability, and hiring strategies
- Deliver regular updates on search progress and candidate activity
- Build strong client relationships through responsiveness, transparency, and exceptional service
Bullhorn & Recruiting Operations
- Accurately maintain candidate, client, job order, and activity records within Bullhorn CRM/ATS
- Document all candidate and client interactions in real time
- Ensure every conversation includes:
- Updated notes
- A documented next step
- A scheduled follow-up task
- Maintain accurate candidate pipelines and recruiting forecasts
- Utilize AI tools and recruiting technology to improve efficiency, communication, sourcing, and documentation
- Schedule and manage follow-up communications, interview touchpoints, and placement retention activities
- Generate weekly recruiting forecasts and activity reports
Business Development & Growth
- Support business development efforts through networking, prospecting, referrals, and market research
- Contribute to client growth and account expansion opportunities
- Identify new hiring opportunities within existing accounts
- Participate in service calls, client visits, networking events, and community engagement activities
- Collaborate with sales and recruiting teams to achieve branch and regional growth goals
What You'll Bring
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- One or more years of recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, customer service, sales, account management, or related experience
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using ATS, CRM, or recruiting software systems preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and business technology platforms
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
