Family owned and operated Swimming Pool Cleaning, Maintenance and Repair Company is now hiring for a full time pool cleaning position, no experience necessary as training will be provided, and a repair technician. An ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities and Duties
In these positions the Technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining customers’ pools on an assigned route. Responsibilities include the following tasks:
- Test water, and balance pool chemicals.
- Clean and vacuum pools.
- Empty skimmer baskets.
- Skim/net the surface of the water.
- Backwash pools.
- Brush down walls/steps/tile/etc.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, chemicals used and services performed.
- General troubleshooting.
- Interact with homeowners if needed in a professional manner.
- Communicate any problems with pool equipment pads, leaks, etc. with supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
Technician must possess the following qualifications/skills:
- Good attitude.
- Punctual.
- Bi-Lingual
- Diligent.
- Dependable.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Ability to comfortably lift and carry 50 pounds, perhaps multiple times a day.
- Perform repetitive kneeling, bending, and reaching motions and/or stand for prolonged periods.
- Endure weather conditions (we work through rain, heat, and cold).
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Required license or certification: Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record'
