HVAC Service Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The technician will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, replace or repair defective components, and ensure systems operate efficiently and safely. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Install replacement parts and equipment as needed
- Ensure systems meet all safety and code requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers about services and repairs
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician for at least 3-5 years with a strong focus on customer service.
- Proficient in refrigeration and HVAC systems, including HVAC design and schematics.
- Familiarity with plumbing and mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R.
- Experience in field service, equipment repair, and HVAC troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a van for service calls.
- Knowledge of A2L refrigeration and equipment repair techniques.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
