Daycare Teacher

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational activities that promote childhood development, including preschool, toddler care, and infant care programs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap schedules, diaper changes, and transitions with patience and professionalism.
• Support children with diverse needs by applying special education techniques and working with children with disabilities when necessary.
• Use effective behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar early childhood education settings.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific caregiving techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred; ongoing training is encouraged.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
• Strong classroom management skills combined with the ability to nurture a caring environment.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and engaging families effectively.
