Job Summary
This position is for a loyal, dedicated childcare worker who loves working children, ages 0-12. They must understand what is needed to care for and be responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. They must monitor the children all day to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner. Applicant must meet all Federal, State, and Local requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining a safe and fun environment for young children 0-12 years old
- Preparing and serving snacks to children
- Maintaining a clean environment for the children
- Preparing meals for children
- Monitoring children for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Attend all mandatory and required meetings and professional developments
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff
Experience
- Proven experience in a childcare role within a childcare setting, preferably in a center.
- Familiarity with the State and Local requirements for working at daycare and caring for children.
