Job Summary:
The Electronic Visit Verification Coordinator is responsible for the verification of attendance and recording of personal care providers while ensuring state, federal and local regulations are upheld. The EVV Coordinator will facilitate corrective action and education when necessary.
Job Qualifications:
Education: High school graduate
Experience: General office management and human resource experience preferred.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively. Must be able to read, write and comprehend English. Demonstrates proven decision-making skills. Knowledge of office machines preferred; computer skills required; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance.
Essential Functions:
Promotes the Agency’s philosophy and mission by presenting a positive image to clients and families, physicians and community agencies. Uses effective customer service skills when directing calls and assisting others.
Responsible reviewing visit maintenance reports to ensure all documentation has been obtained to accurately produce semi-monthly payroll. Monitor all attendants’ time for accuracy, completeness and appropriate application of reason codes.
Assists in the billing process, human resources as needed.
Responsible for identifying service breaks and unutilized time and visit variations for all categories of clients and notifying management and other appropriate staff of any problems.
Communicates with coordinators in regards to missing time, clients not being serviced, or other issues with care delivery within time frames set by the administrator.
Promotes compliance with policies and procedures through education, guidance, and other assistance as necessary.
Train attendants in the use of the EVV system and requirements. Counsels with attendants concerning compliance with EVV rules when necessary.
Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competency.
Oversees EVV device management and application use.
Ensures appropriate documentation is recorded for all clients. Oversees accurate documentation regarding EVV compliance.
Reporting to the administrator. Performs other duties as required.
