What You'll Do
As a Chaplain, you provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families throughout their hospice journey. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting spiritual assessments and offering individualized support
- Assisting with bereavement services as needed
- Participating in the interdisciplinary Plan of Care to ensure high‑quality spiritual care
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in patient charts
- Building relationships with community religious and spiritual leaders
- Coordinating access to community spiritual resources for patients and families
- Supporting the development of hospice‑community partnerships

Qualifications
- Ordained minister or chaplain in good standing within your denomination
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong creativity and motivational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a hospice care team
- Understanding of the grief process for patients and families
- Reliable transportation, valid Oklahoma driver's license, and proof of insurance
