Overview
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Sitters who drive their own insured vehicles to provide attentive care for children in a nurturing environment for our on-call role. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for educating and engaging with children. This role requires someone who can create a safe, fun, and stimulating atmosphere while supporting the developmental needs of the children. (Please Do Not Apply if you Can't Accept an On-Call Position/Drive 45-1 Hr. & work an 8am-6pm shift)
(Only Open to Insured Drivers who have a working Vehicle)
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in various activities, including playtime, educational games, and outings.
- Provide care for infants & toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and bedtime.
- Care for children through age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Administer first aid when necessary and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
Experience
- Previous experience with infant care, toddler care is required.
- Familiarity with working with children who have disabilities is a plus.
- A background in babysitting, daycare worker, school, camp worker, or church nursery can enhance your candidacy.
- A genuine love for children and a commitment to their growth and happiness is essential.
