A Market is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Cashiers. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions, with a particular need for team members who are available for midday and evening shifts. Our cashiers are an important part of the A Market experience. Duties
- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Accurately and efficiently process customer purchases
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment
- Bag purchases carefully and assist customers as needed
- Keep the register and front-end area clean, organized, and stocked
- Answer basic customer questions and help direct customers to products or departments
- Assist with light stocking, cleaning, and other front-end tasks during slower periods
- Work cooperatively with other team mebers to keep the store running smoothly
- Follow store procedures for cash handling and customer service
- Effectively educate customers on our loyalty program and conduct sign-ups as necessary
