Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, and waste disposal components on construction sites.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing layouts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to complete tasks efficiently and precisely.
- Conduct routine plumbing system inspections and perform maintenance to prevent future issues.
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure plumbing work aligns with project timelines and specifications.
- Adhere to all local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards during every phase of work.
- Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing fixtures and integrating HVAC systems when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in commercial or residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, schematics, and blueprint reading.
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and plumbing inspection cameras.
- Familiarity with local building codes related to water systems and plumbing safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge of water systems, HVAC integration, and plumbing system maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed schematics.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; carpentry experience is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel.
- Handyman experience or remodeling background is advantageous for versatile project support.
