Requires weekendsThe Treatment Plant Coordinator 2 serves as the Operator of Record for Class I water and Class I wastewater treatment facilities. This role acts as a lead worker, coordinating the daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants to ensure compliance with all Ohio EPA regulations. The position requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.Required Worker CharacteristicsKnowledge of:Workforce planning and employee training.Lead work practices, safety standards (MSDS, chemical spills, confined spaces, respirators).Agency policies and procedures related to treatment operations.*EPA standards, permits, and regulatory requirements.Bookkeeping and record management.Water/wastewater system operations.Skill in:Operation of hand and power tools, vehicles, and specialized equipment (turibidimeters, colorimeters, analyzers, pH meters, DO meters, SCBA, gas monitors, etc.).Transcription of electronically recorded data.Use of personal computers and electronic monitoring systems.General maintenance tasks (welding, mowing, snow removal, equipment operation).Ability to:Understand complex technical concepts and interpret detailed technical materials.Apply algebra, geometry, and trigonometry in operational calculations.Perform data analysis, collect and classify information, and prepare accurate reports.Work cooperatively with staff on group projects.Lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.* Knowledge developed after employment.Minimum QualificationsClass 1 Wastewater Operator License (Ohio EPA)Class 1 Water Operator License (Ohio EPA)Valid driver’s license required to operate a state vehicleA-Line Staffing is now hiring Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Coordinator please contact Marcia Hamilton at (586) 710-7979 or mhamilton@alinestaffing.com
