A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Senior Payroll Analyst in Boise, ID. The Senior Payroll Analyst would be working for a Fortune 500 company. This would be full time / 40 hours per week.*This is a 6 month contract position*Senior Payroll Analyst Compensation$32.00 – $36.00 per hour Based on ExperienceBenefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment401(k) with company match available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on eligibility dates Senior Payroll Analyst HighlightsThis is a 6 month contract position to cover for an employee on leave.Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMFull-time / 40 hours per weekLocation: Boise, ID - 2 days On-site Mon & Tues 3 days Remote Wed-Fri - This may change to 4 days on site in the near future must be open to this! Senior Payroll Analyst ResponsibilitiesPayroll OperationsLead bi-weekly payroll processingProcess off-cycle payrolls as neededResolve complex payroll issues related to taxes, deductions, timekeeping, and pay calculationsProcess bonus payments, adjustments, and special payoutsRespond to employee and manager payroll inquiries professionally and accuratelySystems & Technical ExpertiseWork within Workday and SAP payroll systemsParticipate in system upgrades and configuration changesPerform regression testing and pay rule validationIdentify opportunities for automation and process improvementsCompliance & ControlsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulationsSupport garnishments, wage withholding, and statutory requirementsEnsure compliance with SOX controls and regulatory guidelinesResearch payroll compliance issues and provide recommendationsReporting & DocumentationConduct payroll analysis and prepare reports for stakeholdersSupport quarterly and year-end processes including W-2s and 941 filingsPerform reconciliations and validation tasksDevelop and maintain payroll procedures and documentationCross-Functional CollaborationServe as payroll subject matter expert for HR and managementCollaborate with HR, Finance, and operational teamsSupport timekeeping and data validation processesMaintain working knowledge of related areas such as benefits and stock programsSenior Payroll Analyst Requirements3-5 years of related payroll experienceExperience processing high-volume U.S. payrollStrong understanding of payroll tax regulations and complianceStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsProficiency in ExcelExcellent communication and organizational skillsHigh School Diploma or GEDAttendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Senior Payroll Analyst Preferred QualificationsExperience with Workday or SAP payroll systems is highly preferred!Experience supporting payroll system implementations or process improvements If you think this Senior Payroll Analyst position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting for immediate consideration with Silvana M. with A-Line or email resume to smanzella@alinestaffing.com
