The Product Development Technician works closely with supervisors, project leaders, and technical staff to complete assignments, support testing, and ensure accurate documentation.Who should apply:Do you have at least 6 years of experience in a laboratory environment (corporate or academic) or technician experience in a regulated environment? Do you have at least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or Research and Development setting? Do you have experience supporting general lab functions, such as calibration, safety procedure implementation, and routine equipment maintenance? Key Responsibilities:Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data such as laboratory or material test results.Produce engineering documents, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.Perform routine technical tasks and provide support to engineers.Assist with equipment scoping and qualification activities.Support general lab functions, such as calibration, safety procedure implementation, and routine equipment maintenance.Notify supervisor or team lead if factors arise that may impact project progress.Assist in developing prototype processes and test setups.Execute test protocols and conduct testing accurately.Document and communicate test results clearly and effectively.Handle test samples, chemicals used for conditioning, and testing materials.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma.At least 6 years of experience in a laboratory environment (corporate or academic) or technician experience in a regulated environment.Experience following written procedures.Ability to work collaboratively within a team.Preferred Requirements:Bachelor of Science in a technical field.At least 1 year of experience in a laboratory or Research and Development setting.Experience following written procedures and collaborating with technical teams.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional groups.Ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.Proficiency with personal computers and standard software.Ability to train lower-level technicians.
