A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Medical Assistant in Orient, OH, please contact Staffing Manager, Tiona Scroggins @ tscroggins@alinestaffing.comAssignment Dates: 3-month contract with the opportunity to extend or go permanent based on business needsEmployment Type: Temporary-to-PermanentPay Rate: $17.50/hr (biweekly pay)Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMNo weekends or holidaysOn-site onlyRole Details:This position provides direct support to clinic healthcare providers, with one role assisting a gynecologist and another supporting an intake nurse practitioner. Strong clerical and computer skills are required. Responsibilities focus on patient preparation, clinical support tasks, and maintaining efficient clinic operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in patient care, examination, and treatment under direction of a physician or nurse supervisor.Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures.Support patients and families; report changes in patient status to charge nurse.Obtain and document vital signs, blood pressure, height, weight, EKGs, and lab tests.Set up, clean, disinfect, and restock examination rooms.Clean assigned areas and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.Assist team members as needed to maintain workflow.Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.Follow all facility policies, procedures, and care guidelines.Required QualificationsMinimum 6 months of supervised clinical experience within the past 2 years in the specialty area.Current BCLS or appropriate Cardiac Life Support certification.Ohio License and MA certification (as applicable).Strong clerical background and computer proficiency.Benefits (through A-Line Staffing)Benefits available after 90 days of full-time employment.401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service.INDKSBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceLicense/Certification:Ohio MA certification/license (Required)BCLS or appropriate Cardiac Life Support certification (Required)
