Material Handler 3 – Sparks, MDPay Rate: $24.63/hourShift4:00 PM – 12:00 AMJob SummaryThe Material Handler 3 role involves moderately complex assignments requiring sound judgment in material storage, movement, packaging, and release. This position supports receiving and distribution functions, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with quality and GMP standards. The role requires safe operation of powered industrial equipment and collaboration within a team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling & Equipment OperationOperate hand and electric trucks, including forklifts, turret trucks, and order pickersLocate, store, package, move, and release materials appropriatelyPrepare goods for final domestic shipmentUse packaging equipment and UPS/computer systems as neededMaintain accurate written and electronic logsInventory & QualityConduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levelsAssist with sampling and inspection proceduresSupport monitoring of finished product quality in accordance with GMPsMaintain knowledge of receiving and distribution functionsMay train others and implement functions within SAPTeamwork & Decision-MakingWork effectively within a team setting to support departmental goalsMake sound decisions relative to job responsibilitiesCoordinate or execute special projects as requiredWork independently with minimal supervision on routine tasksRequired SkillsReading, writing, and basic arithmetic skillsAbility to safely operate required equipmentContinuous attention to detailed operationsBasic PC proficiency in a Windows environmentAbility to lift/move:5–25 lbs continuously25–60 lbs frequentlyForklift license required OR ability to obtain within one month of hireEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent required1 year of experience required2 years of experience preferredIf you are interested, please reach out to Chin Yang at A-Line Staffing. 586-323-4194 | cyang@alinestaffing.com.
