Dishwasher / Kitchen Utility

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher to join our culinary team in Princeton, NJ immediately! As an essential member of our back-of-house operations, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitizing all kitchenware and dining equipment, and helping keep the kitchen organized and running smoothly.

No prior experience is required we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, team spirit, and readiness to start right away!

Key Responsibilities

• Dishwashing & Sanitation: Operate commercial dishwashers and 3-compartment sinks to wash, rinse, and sanitize plates, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.
• Organization & Storage: Safely sort and restock clean dishes, utensils, and cookware in designated storage areas.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors, food prep surfaces, and dish station areas to meet health and safety standards.
• Waste Management: Empty kitchen trash cans, compost, and recycling receptacles, replacing liners regularly throughout shifts.
• Team Support: Assist line cooks and kitchen staff with basic prep tasks, restocking, or unloading delivery supplies as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Availability: Flexible schedule (day, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts available).
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and lift up to 40–50 lbs.
• Dependability: Strong punctuality, attention to cleanliness, and a team-player mindset.
• Experience: No prior dishwashing experience required; training will be provided on-site.
