Job Summary: The Receiver II supports all receiving operations within the warehouse. This position ensures that incoming shipments are received, verified, and processed accurately. The Receiver II assists the Supervisor in directing daily tasks, training receiving staff, and ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and assist the receiving team in unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Verify shipment details against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices.
- Communicate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly with the Receiving Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate receiving records within the warehouse management system (WMS) and oversee documentation completion.
- Monitor and uphold organization and cleanliness in the receiving area to support efficiency and safety.
- Assist with training new receiving associates on company procedures, WMS use, and safety policies.
- Coordinate with other departments, including inventory and operations, to maintain product accuracy and resolve receiving issues.
- Support inventory control efforts, including cycle counts and audits.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely, report mechanical or safety issues immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse receiving experience.
- Prior leadership, lead, or trainer experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
