Scope:
Assistant Program Managers are responsible for the oversight of client programs, household/site operations, and the training and development of Direct Support Professionals. Assistant Program Managers assist in the development and implementation of client instructional plans ensuring quality care and state, federal, and local compliance, while meeting plan goals and objectives. Assistant Program Managers perform their duties with a team approach, working in collaboration with Direct Support Professionals, Program Managers, the Residential Program Director and the Executive Director while adhering to policies and procedures set forth by ESL, WACs, and DDA Policies. Assistant Program Managers ensure consistent program operations through providing coverage and participating in on-call rotation. Assistant Program Managers model ESL values, the promotion of client independence, and the values described in the DSHS Residential Service Guidelines.
