What You’ll Do
- Lead fireproofing crews on commercial and industrial job sites
- Apply spray-applied fire-resistive materials accurately and efficiently
- Set up, operate, clean, and troubleshoot fireproofing equipment
- Read project plans, specifications, and product requirements
- Plan daily work and communicate expectations to the crew
- Monitor production, material usage, quality, and job progress
- Ensure proper surface preparation, application thickness, and finished quality
- Train and mentor less-experienced applicators
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete required job-site and safety documentation
- Represent Kaloutas professionally with customers and project partners
What We’re Looking For
- At least 7 years of hands-on commercial fireproofing experience
- Strong knowledge of spray-applied fireproofing materials, equipment, and application methods
- Previous crew leadership or foreman experience
- Ability to produce high-quality work while meeting project schedules
- Experience reading plans, specifications, and job-site requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to job-site safety and accountability
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working at heights
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout New England as needed
