Adjunct/Part-time Instructors – English
Currently, the University of Sioux Falls is seeking adjunct instructors able to teach on-ground courses in the liberal arts core general education, with a focus on first-year writing and rhetoric.
USF invites applications for qualified adjunct instructors for the fall semester, beginning August 2025, and beyond. Adjuncts are hired on a term-by-term basis determined by institutional need, and paid per course or semester hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree in any field required (including M.Ed., M.A., M.S., MBA, M.Div.); Teaching experience preferred (teaching writing preferred but not required; tutoring/writing center experience considered), especially with undergraduate or advanced H.S. students. Commitment to academic excellence in a Christian liberal arts environment and to the integration of faith and learning
Preferred:
- Experience teaching in the classroom at the college level (traditional on-ground courses).
- Availability during daytime hours for on-ground classes
