Job Description:We are seeking reliable and professional Armed Gaurds to join our team at a busy waterpark in the Catskills. This role is ideal for individuals who are alert, customer-focused, and comfortable working in an outdoor, high-traffic environment. Security personnel will play a key role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the waterpark and surrounding areas
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure proper access control
- Provide a visible security presence to deter incidents
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and guest concerns
- Write clear, accurate, and timely incident reports
- Enforce site policies and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with staff, guests, and supervisors
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE ARMED GUARD LICENSE
- Must be able to provide their own weapon
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Schedule & Environment:
- Full-time
- Weekends and holidays required
