Security Officers

1. F-02 Security Officers – Family Shelter & Safe Haven Locations (Jamaica, Queens)

• Hiring for all shifts (first come, first served)
• Starting rate: $18.87 per hour
• Estimated need: 30–40 candidates

Benefits & Compensation:

• These locations will be covered under the 32BJ union agreement.
• Certain site assignments may be exempt from traditional union benefits and instead provide a supplemental benefit payment of approximately $7.76 per hour (up to 40 hours per week).
• Availability for supplemental benefit positions is limited, site-specific, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Employees assigned to traditional union sites will receive:

  • Training and professional development benefits
  • Eligibility for retirement benefits, including 401(k) participation upon meeting union requirements

2. F-80 Security Officers – Family Shelter & Safe Haven Locations (Jamaica, Queens)

• Starting rate: $23.00 per hour
• Estimated need: 20 candidates

3. F-02 Security Officers – Family Shelter & Safe Haven Locations (Brooklyn)

• Hiring for all shifts (first come, first served)
• Starting rate: $18.87 per hour
• Estimated need: 30–40 candidates
