Dispatcher:
The Dispatcher serves as the central hub for security operations, coordinating personnel, managing communications, and ensuring continuous site coverage. This role requires strong multitasking skills, sound judgment, and a customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct roll call to confirm attendance, assignments, and readiness for each shift
- Maintain post coverage by managing call-offs and securing replacements through approved procedures
- Dispatch officers and supervisors for routine operations, incidents, and emergencies
- Coordinate incident response, providing clear direction and escalating as needed
- Handle incoming calls and communications professionally, including emergency and after-hours situations
- Monitor security and life safety systems, responding promptly to alarms and alerts
- Track attendance and verify timekeeping (clock-ins, breaks, clock-outs) for accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile billable and payable hours to prevent payroll or billing discrepancies
- Document incidents, actions taken, and outcomes thoroughly and accurately
- Enforce company policies and document non-compliance
- Serve as a liaison between security staff, clients, and leadership
- Address complaints and critical issues in accordance with procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of dispatching or related experience required
- Experience with WinTeam or similar systems preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple systems simultaneously
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
