A&H Security, an MBE-certified security company headquartered in the Bronx and a leading provider of security services throughout New York State, is seeking a qualified Fire Life Safety Director for a part-time post in Staten Island.

Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Fire Life Safety Director will oversee fire safety and emergency preparedness operations at the assigned site, ensuring compliance with FDNY regulations and building emergency action plans. This role requires a licensed, experienced professional capable of managing life safety systems and coordinating emergency response procedures with confidence and precision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor fire alarm systems, life safety systems, and building emergency equipment
• Conduct fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures in accordance with FDNY guidelines
• Maintain and update the building's Fire Safety and Emergency Action Plan
• Respond to fire alarms, system malfunctions, and emergency situations
• Coordinate with FDNY, building management, and other emergency personnel during incidents
• Train and direct building occupants and fire wardens on evacuation procedures
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of drills, inspections, and incidents
• Ensure compliance with all applicable NYC Fire Code and building safety regulations
• Conduct routine inspections of fire safety equipment and systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active FDNY F-89 Certificate of Fitness (Fire Life Safety Director) — MANDATORY
• Active New York State Security Guard License — MANDATORY
• Some prior experience as an FLSD or in a related fire/life safety role required
• Strong knowledge of FDNY fire code and building emergency procedures
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Reliable availability for the Tuesday/Wednesday, 8 AM–4 PM schedule
