What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant MA or CCMA position at A First Choice Staffing Service?
We want to fill a full-time Medical Assistant position in Medford. The primary focus is supporting patient care, from assisting physicians in performing medical examinations to collecting specimens for the lab and providing patients with information per the physician's instructions, various tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering telephones, demonstrating how to use equipment, preparing examination rooms, and focusing on patient comfort. Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any unusual conditions to the physician.
Full-time Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient care
- Provides direct care to patients, including assisting with procedures
- Performs exam preparation
- Vitals
- Rooming patient
- Assists with obtaining information for patient care
- Chart prep
- Prior authorizations
- Lab reports
- Clean and stock rooms
- Prescription refills
Additional Task:
- Assist with referrals and other documentation requirements
- Assist with exams
- patient triage calls
- Assist the clinical manager as needed.
Must be able to multitask, detail-oriented, dependable, great with computers, professional, and a team player.
Must pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
