What are the responsibilities and job description for the CCMA or Experienced Medical Assistant position at A First Choice Staffing Service?
We have a few medical assistant positions for CCMAs or experienced MAs. The positions are responsible for obtaining patient records and test results, coordinating daily administrative tasks, preparing treatment rooms for examinations, and assisting our providers in the delivery of services.
Monday through Friday with regular business hours, no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Provide patients with excellent care, record and report chief complaints, check vitals, input information in the EMR for physicians, perform various tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering telephones, demonstrating how to use equipment, preparing examination rooms, and focusing on patient comfort. Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any unusual conditions to the physician.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient care
- Provides direct care to patients, including assisting with procedures
- Performs exam preparation
- Vitals
- Rooming patient
- Assists with obtaining information for patient care
- Chart prep
- Prior authorizations
- Lab reports
- Clean and stocked rooms
- Prescription refills
Additional Task:
- Assist with referrals and other documentation requirements
- Assist with exams
- Patient triage calls
- Assist the clinical manager as needed.
Must be able to multitask, detail-oriented, dependable, great with computers, professional, and a team player.
Must pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks. Must be at least 18 to apply.
