Role Overview
A. Eilers Construction is looking for dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendents to oversee commercial, industrial, and government projects valued between $5M and $15M.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role focused on jobsite safety, quality assurance, and project execution.
You’ll be responsible for leading crews, managing schedules, and coordinating directly with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on-site crews of 1–20 team members.
- Enforce OSHA safety compliance and maintain an organized, hazard-free jobsite.
- Act as the primary on-site representative for clients, subcontractors, and internal staff.
- Plan and delegate daily tasks to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings; update redlines/as-builts as needed.
- Oversee material deliveries, rental coordination, and equipment scheduling.
- Manage daily reports, safety logs, and project documentation.
- Identify scope adjustments and communicate potential change orders to Project Managers.
- Conduct end-of-day site walkthroughs to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Perform quality inspections and verify compliance with project specifications and codes.
- Provide hands-on assistance with field activities such as framing, drywall, ceilings, and fixtures.
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and escalate schedule or budget impacts when necessary.
Qualifications
- 5 years of field experience, including at least 2–4 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven success managing commercial builds between $5M and $15M.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- OSHA 30 certification required (or OSHA 10 with a commitment to complete 30 within 90 days).
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Word, and Excel; willingness to learn Sage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of managing jobsite safety, production, schedules, and quality control.
- Able to lift 50–80 lbs., climb ladders, and operate basic hand or power tools.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday–Friday.
- Typical work hours: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM (varies by project).
- Occasional weekend work based on project timelines.
Work Environment
- Primarily on-site at active projects across the greater St. Louis region.
- Some travel may be required based on project assignment.
