Position Description

You are the on-site leader responsible for safety, quality, sequencing, coordination, and overall field execution. You will work side-by-side with a Project Manager as equals, communicating daily and making decisions together to drive the project forward.

    Responsibilities

·        Coordinate with project management, design partners, trade contractors, and inspectors to maintain field progress.

·        Develop and manage the project schedule including weekly and daily look-ahead planning.

·        Plan and control site logistics, deliveries, manpower flow, and sequencing.

·        Identify constructability issues early and implement practical solutions.

·        Supervise trade partners to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.

·        Maintain jobsite safety compliance and reinforce Keystone’s safety culture.

·        Review drawings and proactively resolve field issues to maintain momentum.

·        Lead daily huddles, weekly coordination meetings, and toolbox talks.

·        Maintain jobsite organization and professional site appearance.

·        Mentor and develop field staff to strengthen team performance.

·        Coordinate inspections, testing, SWPPP compliance, and project closeout.

·        Promote a lean approach to planning and daily field execution.

    Requirements

·        Experience leading crews, subcontractors, or field operations in commercial construction.

·        Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and civil drawings.

·        Strong knowledge and understanding of construction methods, processes, building codes, and safety practices (OSHA).

·        Clear verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead and coordinate teams.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ideally Procore.

·        8 years of construction experience preferred, although ambitious foremen and assistant superintendents ready to advance are encouraged to apply.

·        High school diploma required. Trade school, apprenticeship completion, or construction management coursework preferred.

·        Ability to actively work on a construction site including walking, climbing, and lifting as needed.

·        Salary range: $95,000 to $115,000 depending on experience.
