Reports to: Fleet Manager/Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
- Move company equipment safely on yard as needed.
- Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment, vehicles, and machinery.
- Complete daily checklist as required.
- Determine cause of malfunctioning systems and perform repair or replacement of defective component(s)
- Monitor equipment to ensure all repairs and testing are completed to insure proper operation.
- Maintain facility via housekeeping duties.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by management based on the needs of the A&D Environmental business.
- Hours are Monday through Friday. Weekends as needed.
Qualifications
- Diesel Mechanic Certification from accredited technical school
- · Minimum of three (3) years diesel and gas mechanical experience desired
- · Valid CDL Driver Licenses with clean MVR. Class A Preferred
- · DOT Brake/Annual Inspection Certification
- · Physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

- · Possess or obtain tools necessary to perform tasks related to maintenance on heavy duty and hydraulic equipment.
Required experience.
- · Mechanic: 3 years
- · Diesel Mechanic: 1 year
- · Must be Computer literate, can be trained on software systems and the willingness to learn.
- · Experience using diagnostic software
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
