What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Age Summer Camp Teacher position at A Child's Place Early Learning Center?
A Child's Place of Lindenhurst is a licensed childcare center seeking Teachers for our School Age/Summer Camp Program.
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a CDA or at least 6 ECE college level credits, and the ability to pass all background checks. A plus if you have previous education experience!
Required Shift: Full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
Compensation: $19 - $21/hr. based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
