A Child's Place of Antioch is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers to support the following age groups:
Two-Year-Old's
To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require previous childcare experience in a licensed settling, with strong classroom/behavior management skills.
Required Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00/hour, based on education and experience

Main Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
