Duties
- Our work includes siding, framing, painting, electrical, flooring, landscaping, and more
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Support concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction
- Install rebar, metal studs, framing, drywall, and perform basic carpentry tasks such as trim work and caulking
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with construction plans and specifications
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure compliance throughout all activities
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as masonry, roofing, or restoration is highly preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading is advantageous
- Familiarity with concrete forming, concrete pumping, concrete finishing, and concrete cutting techniques
- Experience using hand and power tools—including impact drivers, roofing nailers, grinders, saws, and more—is a plus, but not required. We provide onsite, hands-on training to help all new hires develop the skills needed to succeed
- Strong understanding of safety procedures including hazard recognition and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Proven ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
- Experience with renovation projects or commercial building sites is beneficial
