Hiring - Childcare provider (Waldoboro)
Teacher's Assistant
Mornings 7:00-8:30am (Monday - Friday)
Afternoons 3:00 - 5:30pm (Monday - Friday)
Miller Elementary School (A.C.E. program)
Start Date: ASAP (following RSU40's 25-26 Calendar)
- A.C.E. is open additional times: early releases, workshop, vacation and summer days
Looking to join a team of enthusiastic professionals who work with young school age children ages in a public school setting. We are looking for a creative, hard-working person to join our team that is prepared to work with children of all abilities.
- Supervising children
- Planning curriculum with co-workers
- Communication with parents and administration of A.C.E.
Lots of playing
Childcare experience
- Must have CPR or will take a course
- Must have a clean Child Care DHHS Background Check before you can start working with children

In 2025, Maine implemented a tiered salary supplement system for early childhood educators, offering monthly supplements ranging from $240 to $540 based on education and experience, and the state minimum wage increased to $14.65 per hour.
Level 1,2,3 & 4 (MRTQ) $240 - Monthly
Level 5 & 6 (MRTQ) $370 - Monthly
Level 7 & 8 (MRTQ) $540 - Monthly
