Teacher Assistant – Miller A.C.E. Program
ScheduleMornings: 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM (Monday–Friday)Afternoons: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Monday–Friday)
LocationMiller Elementary School – A.C.E. Program
Start DateSeptember 1, 2026(Following RSU40’s 2026–2027 School Calendar)
The A.C.E. Program is also open during early release days, workshop days, vacation weeks, and summer programming.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative professional to join our team working with children ages 4–12 in a public school setting. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of all abilities, collaborating with a team, and creating a fun and supportive environment for students.
Duties Include:
- Supervising children
- Planning activities with co-workers
- Communicating with Head Teacher
- Creating a positive, engaging environment through play and learning
Qualifications:
- Childcare experience
- CPR certification (or willingness to complete certification)
- Must pass a DHHS Child Care Background Check prior to employment
Rate of Pay:
Teacher Assistant
- $20–$22/hour (College Degree in Education)
- $18–$20/hour (Childcare Experience)
