Responsibilities
- Safely operate passenger vans, shuttle buses, or personal vehicles to transport clients along designated local routes.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, providing support for those with mobility challenges or special needs.
- Maintain adherence to all state transportation regulations, including paratransit and medical transportation standards.
- Use GPS navigation systems to follow efficient routes and ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Communicate clearly with clients to confirm appointments, provide updates, and address any special requirements or concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws diligently while maintaining a professional demeanor as a chauffeur or driver for various client needs.
Skills
