Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and highly connected Outreach Specialist/ A&R Coordinator to join our team. You will be the primary engine for finding and initiating relationships with emerging artists, session musicians, and industry partners. Your goal is to expand our company’s network, secure new production projects, and maintain our reputation as a top-tier creative hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Scouting & Research: Actively monitor Spotify, TikTok, SoundCloud, and local music scenes to identify high-potential artists and producers who align with our production style.
- Direct Outreach: Execute high-volume, personalized outreach campaigns via email, Instagram DMs, and Discord to initiate conversations with potential clients and collaborators.
- Venues and Booking agents outreach: Pitching artists to venues and booking agents for performances.
- EPK: Keep current artists/talents EPK and one sheet
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain an organized database (CRM) of artist managers, independent labels, and venue contacts for future collaborations and sync opportunities.
- Event Representation: Attend local shows, festivals, and industry mixers to represent the company and scout talent in person.
- Collaboration: Work closely with CEO and Marketing teams to ensure outreach efforts align with current production goals and brand messaging.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Music Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the current music landscape, including emerging genres and digital distribution.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to sound "human" and authentic while remaining professional.
- Organizational Mastery: Highly proficient in using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Notion to track hundreds of conversations.
- Persistence & Hustle: A "self-starter" mentality with the resilience to handle high volumes of cold outreach and occasional rejection.
- Networking: Proven ability to build rapport quickly with diverse groups, from grassroots artists to corporate stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- 2 years of experience in outreach, sales, or A&R within the music industry.
- Existing network of contacts within the USA, Canada, Europe and Africa.
- Basic understanding of music production terminology (stems, tracking, mixing vs. mastering) and trends.
Salary : $25 - $28
