What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess/Greeter/cashier position at A Bite of Mexico?
Responsibilities:
- only needed for Friday and Saturday night --Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at restaurant
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries, answering telephone, receiving and entering to-go orders and providing information about the venue
- Maintain a professional, polite and friendly demeanor at all times
- Assist with guest seating arrangements and escorting guests to their designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance area
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in using Toast or similar point-of-sale systems is a PLUS
- Willingness to help and assist guests with their needs
