Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steel Erector / General Construction Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves working on-site to assemble and erect steel buildings, metal roofing, and the occasional buildout and wood framing. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction environments, proficiency with various tools, and a general understanding of construction safety. Responsibilities
- Erect and assemble steel structures according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Operate lifts, power tools, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments preferred
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication and assembly
- Strong physical stamina capable of lifting heavy materials (up to 50 pounds), working at heights or in confined spaces as required
- Valid safety certifications or willingness to obtain necessary safety training prior to employmentThis position is integral to the successful completion of construction projects involving steel structures. Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
