Mission Prep Healthcare is expanding, and we're excited to launch a new residential treatment program in Minnesota. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Program Manager to join our founding leadership team.

This is a unique opportunity for a strong people leader to play a critical role in establishing program operations, building a high-performing team, and creating an exceptional treatment experience for the adolescents and families we serve. As Program Manager, you will help shape the culture, systems, and day-to-day operations of a brand-new residential program while supporting our mission of delivering life-changing behavioral healthcare.

Mission Prep is an adolescent specific treatment program under the AMFM Healthcare family. Mission Prep aims to provide support and sustainable change for adolescents and families who are challenged by primary mental health struggles. We firmly believe in treating the entire family system and allowing families to address the challenges of their children in a safe, sustainable way. At Mission Prep we are committed to preparing teens for the challenges of life and giving families the fresh start they need at our teen mental health treatment.

To do this we utilize a blend of time-tested therapeutic approaches as well as innovative interventions. We create a sustainable experience that can be built upon long after the youth discharges from Mission Prep. Every element of the family’s care is conducted with attention and purpose from the sessions with our board-certified psychiatrist to the beautiful, home-like environment cultivated to bring a sense of belonging and connection for those in our care. What You'll Do

As the Program Manager, you'll serve as the primary operational leader for residential programming and direct care staff, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, mentor, and support residential program staff across 24/7 operations.

  • Manage staffing schedules, coverage, payroll approvals, and timekeeping functions.

  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new team members.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and client-centered care.

  • Ensure program adherence to policies, procedures, safety standards, and licensing requirements.

  • Conduct routine facility inspections, safety rounds, and infection control monitoring.

  • Support crisis intervention, de-escalation efforts, and staff coaching during critical incidents.

  • Coordinate logistics, transportation, appointments, and operational needs for clients.

  • Partner with clinical leadership, compliance teams, and other departments to support quality outcomes.

  • Participate in leadership meetings and organizational initiatives that drive continuous improvement.



What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred.

  • OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 2 years of management experience in a direct care, behavioral health, or human services setting.

  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

  • Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain).

  • Current TB clearance (or ability to obtain).

  • Ability to pass all required background screenings.

Preferred Experience

  • Residential treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment experience.

  • Experience managing staff schedules and workforce planning.

  • Knowledge of licensing, compliance, safety, and quality assurance processes.

  • Strong crisis management, de-escalation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing direct care staff.
