Job description
A Better Choice Home Care, LLC is a non-medical in-home care company specializing helping seniors and disabled adults to remain independent in their homes. We currently provide services in the Greater Charleston area ranging from Charleston to Summerville and in between. Caregivers are placed with clients in their areas, close to home, within the availability they provide to our scheduling team!
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities vary from client to client, as everyone's needs are different. Some of our clients simply require companionship and light housekeeping, while others require more hands-on care. We do our best to pair our caregivers with clients they feel comfortable providing care for. Other responsibilities can include, but are not limited to:
- Provide client with bathing, grooming, dressing, undressing, toileting, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
- Assist client in walking and provide limited transportation to doctor appointments and shopping centers
- Document daily care logs and report any changes to the office
- Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (Required)
- Active Driver’s License/Auto Insurance
- Reliable Transportation (Required)
- Experience in caregiving (1 Year Preferred)
