An RBT is a Registered Behavior Technician that provides direct supports and implements treatment plans written by a BCBA. They provide ABA interventions that provide socially appropriate replacement behaviors and can build and improve upon communication, self help, social interaction, play and leisure skills, problem-solving and pre-academics.
An RBT may work in the home, school, clinic or a combination of settings with children ages 18 months up to 21 years old. Supervision will be provided on a weekly basis by the supervising BCBA and/or supervising BCaBA.
School requirements include a high school diploma. RBT certification is preferred but not required.
This position is for a school based RBT that will work in the clinic and home settings during summer and Christmas breaks.
Must have excellent communication, time management skills, and ability to learn in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain professional ethics and boundaries with client's is a must.
