We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on R&D Project Coordinator to support product development initiatives within our manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for someone early in their engineering or design career who is looking to gain real-world experience bringing products from concept to production.
The position blends CAD design, CNC integration, and project coordination, working closely with both our leadership and production team to develop, refine, and implement new product designs.
Responsibilities
· Assist in the design and development of new products using CAD software (Fusion 360 or similar required)
· Translate design concepts into production-ready drawings and cut files; Utilize 3D printer as needed for jig and sample production
· Support CNC operations by preparing and organizing files for efficient machine use; CNC Maintenance is required
· Coordinate R&D pipeline projects from concept through production, ensuring timelines and priorities are maintained; complete initial Alpha & Beta versions without production support
· Collaborate with the production floor to test designs, gather feedback, and refine builds; Maintain organized documentation of drawings, revisions, and project updates
· Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify builds and improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience with Fusion 360 or similar CAD software (required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think through both design and build processes
- Interest in product development, engineering, or manufacturing
- Basic understanding of CNC machinery and 3D printing products
- Carpentry or hands-on building experience is a strong plus
- Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
