What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mason position at A&AC Contractors?
We are seeking an experienced Mason with strong concrete experience to join our team. The ideal candidate is hardworking, dependable, and knowledgeable in both masonry and concrete applications.
*Supervisory/Lead experience is a plus*
Responsibilities:
- Perform masonry work including block, brick, and stone installation
- Form, pour, and finish concrete (flatwork, patios, walkways, slabs, etc.)
- Assist with excavation, site prep, and layout
- Operate basic hand tools and construction equipment
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in masonry and concrete work (required)
- Ability to finish concrete (broom finish, stamped, etc.)
- Knowledge of proper grading, forming, and reinforcement
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
