The Role
As a Collections Agent, you’ll own a portfolio of new and aged accounts and be trusted to manage it independently. You’ll analyze risk, prioritize your efforts, and negotiate payment resolutions that protect the company while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already knows collections and doesn’t need scripts or constant supervision.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and actively work delinquent accounts
- Make consistent outbound calls, texts, emails, and follow-ups
- Negotiate payment plans and resolutions
- Analyze AR data to prioritize recovery efforts
- Document all activity clearly and accurately
- Skip trace and research accounts as needed
- Maintain firm, respectful, professional conversations
- Collaborate with operations and leadership when escalation is needed
- Meet or exceed individual and team collection goals
- Travel occasionally within Metro Atlanta

What We’re Looking For
- Prior collections / AR / recovery experience (required)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Confident, professional phone presence
- Highly organized and self-directed
- Comfortable working from AR reports and spreadsheets
- Proficient in Excel and standard office software
- Willing to travel locally as needed
- Experience in bail, legal, or financial services is a plus
