Laborer/Operator

Overview
We are seeking a RELIABLE, energetic, & passionate individual to join our team, & that wants to learn to stripe immediately. A-1 Striping Service has been serving the surrounding Michiana areas since the 1960s. We take pride in providing exceptional service to all of our customers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong commitment to safety and quality. The candidate will be expected to communicate properly.

Job Duties:

• Strain and prepare paint for application
• Clean and maintain stencils used for marking and painting
• Lay out accurate parking lot dimensions based on project requirements
• Operate striping equipment and machinery efficiently and safely
• Assist with loading and unloading painting materials and supplies
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality

Requirements

• Previous experience in a labor or operator role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing operational needs. You must be a quick learner and show initiative
• Have a reliable vehicle, or transportation is mandatory
